Meet Lin (Lynna) Su — TCM + RMT

Meet Lin (Lynna) Su, one of the few practitioners at Joayo Therapy who brings a dual license to her work — she’s both a licensed Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and a licensed Registered Massage Therapist (RMT).

A Dual Approach to Care

Lynna integrates acupuncture and massage therapy, drawing from both TCM and hands-on rehabilitation approaches. She has experience working with conditions including whiplash, frozen shoulder, lower back pain, lateral and medial epicondylitis (tennis and golfer’s elbow), ITB syndrome, and plantar fasciitis.

Techniques She Uses

Depending on what each patient needs, Lynna draws on a wide toolkit — Swedish massage, myofascial and trigger point release, Active Release Technique, hydrotherapy, PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation), joint mobilizations, and traditional Tuina techniques. This range allows her to tailor sessions to the individual rather than applying one method to every case.

Working Toward Your Goals

Lynna works with patients to set clear recovery goals, with the aim of helping them relax and return to the activities they care about. She’s fluent in Mandarin and English.

If you’re looking for a care approach that combines traditional Chinese medicine with hands-on massage therapy, Lynna and our team at Joayo Therapy in Brentwood, Burnaby can build a plan suited to your needs.
